Jonathan Cape 1957 (253 pages): RARE Boots Lending Library advance binding variant in blue cloth. Featuring Boots Library logo on the face of the book and identifying metal eyelet (for a string bookmarker) to the spine. Presented  like other Boots Books with standard pages trimmed to create a much smaller page block, Jonathan Cape ledgers state just 427 Boots From  Russia With Love's were printed (ref: Gilbert). Surviving books now thought to number just a handful. An incredibly rare find, this was not commercially available, and was printed in advance of the main Jonathan Cape print-run. Spine shows repair, page block has marks to extremeties to initial pages, but mostly clean througout with just occassional age-related marks/spotting.
