The Spy Who Loved Me 1st Edition 1st Impression
Jonathan Cape 1962 (221 pages): VERY GOOD condition book and jacket, with clipped, but original first state jacket with bright, vivid colours. Very clean jacket, very minor spine fading, minor paper damage to flap folds and back of DJ. Bright, clean, and completely unmarked internal pages, with no staining, foxing, writing, annotations, folds or inscriptions of any kind. Boards clean and square. None of the usual top-page block browning. Side page block has some minor marks, but overall the page block is creamy white all the way around. In summary, a fabulous example of a very low print-run book [At 30,000 1st/1sts, the first impression print-run was only just over half that of Thunderball's a year earler].
