Diamonds Are Forever: first edition, 7th impression (1974)

Jonathan Cape. 1958 (257 pages): GOOD condition book and jacket. This is ex-library, as often is with reprints, featuring a 'discarded' stamp from Richmond Upon Thames Library to front endpaper, a barely noticeable stamp to title page and a 'discarded' stamp on bopyright page. With no further library stamps thereafter, this presents very cleanly indeed for a former library book - with all pages (save one page, see picture) remarkably bright and clean and white. This copy looks barely read, with the inner pages in exceptional conditon. This particular book has been rebound by the library. As was typically done, the pages have been trimmed slightly, leaving this book slightly shorter than a standard Cape. Jacket is full-sized though, and is in very good, bright condition, with barely any wear, having previousoly been protected by a protective cover. The early pages are bound a little skew-wiff, but the pages straighten up as the book progresses. Overall, a rather nice, and very good condition copy. This 7th impression of Diamonds Are Forever was the first Ian Fleming James Bond book to carry an ISBN number on the jacket.
