A quite simply FINE-condition example of this extremely scarce paperback (from 1957) of Diamonds Are Foreve,r by Perma Books (US). The Perma edition was the first time this novel appeared in paperback (anywhere), and predates the first UK Pan paperback edition by a full year. There was just a single print run made of this paperback, due to lan Fleming deciding to change his US paperback publisher to Signet in response to Perma re-titling his previous novel, "Moonraker" into "Too Hot to Handle". This copy features the superb cover art of William Rose and is in stunning, fine condition. This is easily amongst the best-kept example of this book I've handled. No spine cracking, no internal marks, no writing, annotations or other condition points. The wrappers is remarkably bright and clean, and this is extremely tightly-bound, with crisp-cut-square pages. Impressively clean and bright inner pages, unusual to find. A supremely difficult book to find, especially in this unflinchingly superb condition.
