A near fine, first print example of Signet's You Only Live Twice, published in 1965. This book is significant for being the very first appearance of this novel in paperback form. Sources suggest that despite both the Signet and UK Pan export paperbacks being published simultaneously, the UK Pan market paperback was not available until May 1966. As the blurb on this Signet paperback proudly asserts on its front wrapper: 'First time in paperback'. With bright, clean wrappers, a non-creased spine, and tight binding, this book shows barely any signs of being read. Sports near-new square corners and clean, bright, and unmarked inner pages. The only small distraction is a a small corner of the back wrapper being lost. Otherwise, this presents in near-fine condition. A very clean example of this is a very hard-to-find in the UK. A superb example for all US Fleming paperback collectors.
